Eyewear-Really Different Now
In the past, eye wears were deemed as something people had to use. But they are now some of the most popular products in the market, for they are also symbols of fashion. Particularly, the emergence of some famous fashion house has prompted the popularity of eye wears greatly.
It is true that not long ago most people did not want to wear glasses, for they might affect their personal images. And now eyeglasses can be used as accessories and have attracted many people. Especially, the emergence of contact lenses has also benefited people a lot. Therefore, some people love to wear those fashionable glasses and contact lenses according to their needs.
Sunglasses are some of the most popular and fascinating members in eye wear family. Those glasses can protect eyes from being damaged by harmful rays with good visual effects. Generally, based on their needs, people can get sunglasses of different styles and designs.
With the development of technology, more and more materials and techniques are employed in the making of lenses. For example, the materials vary a lot; the color of lenses is also very rich. Or some photo-chromatic glasses can make the visual effects very outstanding and nice.
As for frames, many innovations are also been achieved in their styles, colors, shapes, etc. Or some are full-rimed, some other semi-rimed, or others rimless.
In this sense, some related things much be noticed while buying eye wear, Such as, to check the materials and styles of the frames and lenses; to consider the frames and one’s face shape. Anyway, one should ensure there is a contrast between his face and the frame shapes. After that, try those glasses on and to see whether they are comfortable to wear.
Hermes – Leather Goods and Perfumes
Hermes is a Paris based fashion, perfume, and leather goods company. Thierry Hermes founded the company in 1837; originally as a manufacturer of saddles, riding boots, and bridles, catering to the carriage trade of the time. Over the years, the company’s catalog grew to include its signature silk scarf, luggage and couture, fragrances, glass wear and tableware, and ready-to-wear lines.
Since its inception as a leather goods shop in Paris, the company had been offering products of the highest quality. In 1855 the company won the first prize for businesses in its class at the Paris Exposition. Their well-designed and finely wrought leather riding items earned them not only the highest accolades, but also a large and loyal following.
When the carriage and horse riding industry began to wane in favor of automobiles, Hermes adapted its expertise at leather working to the creation of leather wallets, bags, luggage, and other accessories. These accessories were generally for sports such as golf and polo, leading to Hermes’ line of couture sportswear. In fact in the 1920’s, the brand made fashion news by designing for the Prince of Wales a zippered leather golfing jacket. (At the time the zipper was actually a new invention.)
The company continued to expand well into the 20th century, continually adding more items to their lineup. Their perfumery started in 1951, and over the decades since then Hermes has created such scents as Terre D’Hermes, Hiris, Rouge Hermes, and Un Jardin sur le Nil.
By the 1980s their lineup was truly immense, with clothing and accessories in different luxurious materials and styles, as well as date books and teapots. Since the company never gave out licenses, they are able to monitor closely the quality of each and every one of their items.
Through the years the company has maintained a mien of conservative luxury, with many items still bearing equestrian motifs, designating the company’s historic origins. But to the fashion industry’s surprise, at the turn of the century, the company hired on a few of the more radical designers of the day – who fortunately proved their worth by living up to the Hermes name.

Flying into Las Vegas
When flying into Las Vegas there are primarily two choices. McCarran International Airport (LAS) and Henderson Airport (HND).
McCarran International Airport is a great choice when arriving via heavy jet and budget is not a factor. One of the biggest drawbacks to McCarran is occasional congestion which can delay your flight for some time. Much of this congestion should be relieved when the airport upgrades are complete (expected around 2011). There is talk of a new airport coming to Las Vegas in 2017 (Ivanpah Valley Airport) but details are still being finalized.
The other major alternate airport is Henderson Executive Airport (HND) with almost no commercial traffic HND is a great alternative to McCarran and very rarely has congestion. While located a bit farther from the strip than McCarran (KLAS) on busy travel days the drive is a small price to pay vs. the delays and airport slots associated with McCarran.
